Nursing Care Cávado Diabetic Shoes: The DIABETIC CÁVADO athletic shoe was specifically developed for patients with diabetic feet, with the aim of preventing pressure and friction ulcers. It is indicated for preserving the anatomical integrity of the foot and reducing pressure points in cases of established deformities. The use of conventional footwear, unsuitable for the specific needs of the diabetic foot, can contribute to the appearance or worsening of deformities. The DIABETIC CÁVADO athletic shoe features a seamless internal design, which prevents friction and skin lesions, and has an appropriate internal volume to adapt to existing morphological changes. Furthermore, it provides correct foot alignment, allowing for a physiological gait and promoting the even distribution of plantar pressure.
